We are pleased to announce the return of Head Coach Danny Williams to the COB Rockets Senior team for the 2018/19 season.

After a 4th place and 16&6 win /loss record last term Williams will begin building the Rockets roster for the 18/19 campaign hoping to create a promotion winning team.

Williams said ‘ I am confident that we can achieve our goals this year after coming so close last season. The players were outstanding during the campaign and without a couple of close losses we would have been in post season action where anything can happen in one off games’

We are generally a young team with the majority of the players having come through the club’s development programme. Any additions to the squad are always carefully made to ensure that the club ethos is maintained, and so we continue to build carefully’

Rockets MD, Rob Palmer, commented ‘we are really pleased to have Coach Williams returning. His enthusiasm and drive rubs off on those around him and in Danny we have someone who understands how the club operates and continues to give our youngsters opportunity to flourish and develop alongside our senior players.

We look forward to a successful season ahead’

Rockets Senior team fixtures will be published soon so keep a look out for the 2018/19 schedules!

Rockets are happy to announce the appointment of Emanuel Bradshaw as COB Rockets Under 16 Premier Head Coach for the 2018/19 season.

Bradshaw, recently capped as a full Montserrat international, took over the reins of the Under 16 Premier squad during last season and is now excited to have the chance to prepare the team with a full pre season to get ready for the challenge ahead.

‘We have some talented players at the club within this age group and I’m looking forward to helping them develop and realise their full potential at the top level within the country’, said Coach Bradshaw.

As a key member of the Rockets Senior squad, Bradshaw will carefully juggle commitments between his playing and coaching.

Rockets MD Rob Palmer commented, ‘ Emanuel brings a passion, energy and work ethic to both his playing and coaching roles that is effervescent to all around him.

His desire to be successful is something that we believe will rub off on the players and coaches around him. At the same time he understands the importance and focus of developing essential fundamental skills that we are focussed on throughout the club. We are very pleased to have Emanuel taking on this important role.’

The NBL junior season fixtures have yet to be released and will be updated on our club website when received.
