C.O.B Rockets held the third basketball skills camp of 2018 during the Easter Holidays. From Tuesday 3rd April – Thursday 5th April, players experienced new basketball skills and got involved in lots of basketball activities.
Our camp was lead by Coach George Branch, who’s statement follows:
“It gives me great pleasure to report on the success of the COB Easter Basketball Camp. The camp aims to develop the Basketball skills of the 24 players that attended.
It proved to be a great learning camp for all players and coaches with a lot of focus on shooting form and technique, footwork, defence, ball handling and passing under pressure. All drills and games were very competitive and played in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
A massive thank you is given to all the coaches who helped out by encouraging and motivating the players through a variety of drills. The players appreciated the input from the coaches and I am full of hope that they will take the learning in to competitive matches as they continue on their basketball journey.
I look forward to our next camp” – Coach Branch
The camp has proven to be valuable to players and help increase their level of skill and performance. We hope to have boosted players love for the sport of basketball and we aim to give them confidence and push each player individually.
We now look forward to our basketball summer camp, which will be an extension of our smaller skills camps. We have invited loads of elite coaches from around the UK and overseas to help out and coach during our summer camp. If you would like to see more information about our upcoming summer camp CLICK HERE
